Technical Teaching Aids isn’t just about equipment and teaching plans. We’re about our people. TTA can’t work without our extraordinary team. Every day our team is making sure each school district, each college, and each continuing education program has the tools and knowledge they need to train our future engineers, scientists, and leaders in STEM. Today, we would like to introduce our newest team member, Keith Edwards.
Keith is our Florida Territory Manager and Regional Sales Representative. He will be the go-to for teachers and schools as they search for the CTE/STEM program that’s just right for their needs. He has the experience and knowledge to be an excellent guide and resource for institutions looking to implement STEM training.
From Student to Teacher to Educational Consultant
Keith comes to TTA with a wealth of experience. Keith was born and raised in Marion and Levy Counties in Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University and his Master of School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. This unique combination of educational and engineering training, plus an in-depth knowledge of Florida school systems makes Keith a perfect fit for this position. After graduation, he served as an engineer for multiple manufacturing companies before moving on to his true calling — education. He taught engineering in K-12 classrooms before moving on to solving more big-picture problems as an educational consultant to CTE/STEM programs across the Southeast. After a decade of being in the industry, he was very familiar with TTA and some of our sales team. His relationship with TTA’s President, Travis Coon, formalized the connection, and Keith continued his CTE/STEM journey with us, joining us as an educational consultant in May 2022.
A Trusted Resource and Problem Solver
At TTA, Keith is our boots on the ground in Florida, checking in with existing clients to ensure their goals are being met, and scheduling meetings with prospective clients to discover their needs and come up with solutions. He’s known as a trusted resource and a problem solver because he knows the challenges that classroom teachers, district administrators, and community leaders face when looking to implement any STEM program. Keith always considers the needs of the client first when implementing TTA solutions. He asks, “Does the district have a long-term plan to sustain the technology? Does the district have the necessary resources to implement a full program, or would the district be better off incorporating the technology into an existing pathway?” He assures them his previous roles have prepared him and given him insight into the STEM continuum.

It’s All About the Classroom
At the end of the day, Keith is about helping students put the application into their education. TTA training tools help students not just learn theory, but to understand and experience it. Students must learn not just how something works, but why it works. With these ultimate goals in mind, Keith is always ready to find the right TTA plan for the right district. How does he do all of this? “I just listen to what their needs are. I listen to their frustrations. But most importantly, I listen to hear their vision for what they are looking to accomplish.”
In addition to his passion for STEM and learning new things, Keith is an avid cook and a world traveler. He spends his time reading and enjoying life with friends and family. He is looking forward to deepening his relationship with the teachers and instructors in Florida and growing alongside TTA.
