Broadband Academy Course of Study
C-Tech’s Broadband Academy provides hands-on training that equips students with the essential skills and knowledge for life-long technical careers. Our curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry, which means we will give you all the tools and scaffolding required to meet your students where they are.
Train the Trainer
- No technical background is needed for Teacher Training.
- You can conduct classes at your own pace, from forty-five minute sessions to full-day workforce development programs.
- Certification can be administered on site, as a C-Tech Certified Training Facility (CTF).

Introduction and contextual background in Copper, Fiber Optic, and Wireless mediums so your students are ready to take on the world of broadband telecommunications.
Certification: Telecommunications Technologies
Introduction to Copper Systems:
Your students will learn the basics of copper connectivity solutions, constructions, power over ethernet and troubleshooting. Copper is here to stay; experts have identified a continued need for copper technicians for another 20 years!
Certification: Network Cabling Specialist Copper Systems
Grounding & Bonding:
Students gain knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) safety procedures and hands-on experience with network interface devices.
