The First 20 years

WB Manufacturing originally operated under the name of Benchmark Components in Chippewa Falls, WI. At the time, the company manufactured tops and flat panels using laminate with various core materials and hardwood tops. As the business grew, the company moved from Chippewa to a location in Stanley, WI. Our employee count grew from three to 20 plant and office workers. At the same time, our dealer base also expanded across the region.

The Last 20 years

Growth and acquisitions once again required the moving of our manufacturing facilities to a 200,000 square foot plant in Thorp, WI, its current location. The company is privately held and averages 110 full-time equivalent employees throughout the year. Our manufacturing plant produces everything from tops and panels, lockers and casegoods as well as educational furniture. The full-time sales, customer service and engineering teams support all dealer channels across North America. The plant during its high-summer season often runs three shifts to satisfy our customers’ demands.

Today

We continue to grow our product lines and have recently undergone a transformation from Wisconsin Bench to WB Manufacturing to better represent the strength of our solutions for the industrial, educational, office and health markets.  Look for these leading industry brands:  BenchTops, CaseworkUSA®, National School Lines®, World Famous Lockers™ and the introduction of our newest brands like Rhapsody® Music Storage Collection, Elo® Signature Furniture Series, iXchange® Learning Wall System, and our popular repositionable, modular REplay® storage solutions.
