Addressing the growing requirement for students to learn about PLC control, sensors, the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics and Industry 4.0 and the effect it is having on the development of modern work environments.  The Automatics Smart Factory allows students to get experience of a number of processes and technologies that are commonly used in manufacturing and modern-day Industry 4.0 principles. This includes conveyor systems, sensing systems, pneumatic pick and place technology, DC motor drives, and stepper motor drives.
