Girls Code Workshop – Girls 3D Jewelry Printing Design
February 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm$10
This workshop is for girls who have basic coding skills (Scratch, Code.org, Tynker) and a strong desire to learn. This workshop is recommended for girls 6th grade and up and is limited to 20 girls.
In this Girls Code workshop presented by TechBirmingham, girls will learn the basics of 3D design and use that to create a piece of jewelry that the event sponsor Technical Training Aids will print with their commercial-grade Stratasys 3D printers and will be sent via US mail upon completion. By the end of the workshop, girls will have made new friends, learned to create 3D designs, learn how 3D printing works and how it can be used, and most importantly, be inspired to be a techie!
