Welcome Back to the new school year!  As you get started, we wanted to let you know about two upcoming webinars on the Florida CAPE certifications for GIS.  This year the ArcGIS software is now available to your schools at no charge, which puts that technology and THREE CAPE Certifications even closer to your middle and high school students!  Come learn about the technology and how it impacts careers and programs in STEM…AG…Transportation & Logistics…Law Enforcement…IT & more.  Both webinars highlight how to implement CAPE as part of an existing a program; a standalone program; or even personalized learning using Digital Quest’s Curriculum.

• AGSPACE (Digital Tools Certificate – DIGIT801)

The AGSPACE for GIS Beginners session features the middle school appropriate Digital Tools Cert in GIS, a digital location and mapping technology. This session explores the certification process, turnkey instructional strategies in classroom/personal learning environments, and GIS technology. Also see demonstrations of the ArcGIS software and courseware for STEM and Agriculture applications.

• SPACE & STARS (CAPE High School – DIGIT002 & 001)
  Wednesday, August 30 – 3:15 to 4:15 PM EDT

This SPACE and STARS session features scalable high school CAPE certifications in GIS. We will examine how you can use the SPACE and STARS certifications to create a dynamic 1 to 3 year program with up to two certifications for students. Additionally, we will see how either program can stand alone or support multiple career areas from Law Enforcement to Transportation & Logistics. See demonstrations of GIS applications and courseware.
