7th Annual SkillsUSA “Worlds of Possibilities” Career Expo

The Seventh Annual SkillsUSA Worlds of Possibilities Career Expo will take place on February 28-March 1, 2017 at Pensacola State College, Pensacola Campus. It will showcase businesses and vendors in technical career fields by engaging students of all ages with hands-on and interactive experiences.
Pensacola State College, Greater Pensacola Chamber, Visit Pensacola, Gulf Power, and our local school districts are very pleased to announce the Seventh Annual SkillsUSA Worlds of Possibilities Career Expo! SkillsUSA is a nationally recognized program that serves as a partnership between students, teachers, and industry to ensure that America has a skilled workforce. A collaboration of these parties provides students with the opportunity to apply and practice quality work in their prospective fields. SkillsUSA promotes teamwork, leadership, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces self confidence, work attitude, and communication skills. It emphasizes total quality at work-high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education, and pride in the dignity of work. SkillsUSA is comprised of over 300,000 students nationwide.
Escambia and Santa Rosa county school districts will bus in seventh and eighth graders from around the area to experience the Career Exposition as field trips on February 28-March 1, 2017. Students in other grades, private school students, and the general public are invited to attend the expo, free of costs, during the allotted hours.
