The new range from Matrix for teaching structures, covers the seven most commonly taught principles of structures across educational facilities worldwide, teaching mechanical engineering.
There are seven kits available in the range teaching:
- Bending moments
- Shear Force
- Reactions of a simply supported beam
- Bending stress
- Deflection of Beams
- Torsion of Rods
- Pin Jointed Frameworks
Each of the seven kits, features a robust, metal work panel ideal for the classroom environment. They are fitted with removable legs, which can be taken off and fixed to the back for space saving storage and a plastic molded cover to protect the kit whilst not in use.
All kits are connected to a PC through a USB connection, so users can export their results simultaneously. Power can also be supplied through a wall plug, with manual readings collected via the built in LCD panel which is connected to the on board controller.
