DESCRIPTION:  \nAttention: Tennessee Instructors!!  You are invited to join Technical Training Aids and SOLIDWORKS for this 3-day workshop taking place at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Morristown\, TN\, where you can learn more about SOLIDWORKS\, from the basics of navigating the software to using advanced assemblies and getting familiar with all of the available resources.  We have a limited number of seats\, so don’t hesitate to register and please circulate this information to your instructors that use Solidworks! \nWhen:  Wednesday May 29th\, 30th and 31th 2024 \nWhere:  TCAT Morristown \n821 W Louise Ave\, Morristown\, TN 37813 \nWho:      Any Tennessee instructor that wants to learn more about Solidworks.  Learn about the basics of Solidworks and possibly take the CSWA/CSWP exams.  3D printing will be covered but not utilized in the workshop. \nWhat:    Wednesday – Day 1 will be introduction to Solidworks\, how to get around in Solidworks and what resources are available like MySolidworks.com.  The CSWA and CSWP exams will be touched on as well.  Rounding out day 1 with basic drawing. \n \nThursday – Day 2 will focus on the CSWA/CSWP exam prep and what resources are available.  What to expect when taking the exams.  How to register your school…Practice tests will be provided and more drawing time. \n*For those instructors with certifications\, use Day 2 and Day 3 to work on assembly files and to collaborate with others\, the Solidworks trainer will provide advanced projects. \nFriday – Day 3 will offer the CSWA and CSWP exam if you choose to take it or use the time to dive into more advanced assembly drawings. \nTime:     8:30 AM – 4 PM (1/2 hour for lunch\, on your own) \nCost:     Free to any Tennessee instructor that has purchased Solidworks from Technical Training Aids.  Travel Cost not included. \nQuestions?  Please reach out to Andrew Rittmeier. \n \n*Professional Development Certificates will be emailed out for the hours attended. \n
